What forms of payment to you accept?
We accept various forms of secure payments through Amazon Payments, PayPal and Stripe.

I would like to send a gift – how should I do it?
Include a note on the checkout page indicating that this is a gift. Include a message for the recipient of the gift. The shipping addresses should be the giftee’s address. We will notify you when we ship the package. Please note: All imposed import taxes, duties and fees will be the responsibility of the recipient when shipping outside the U.S.

Will I have to pay a sales tax on my order?
California residents are required to pay sales tax.  Residents of all other states will not be charged a sales tax.

What are the shipping and handling charges?
Free USPS Priority shipping is provided in the United States. International customers will be charged a $25 flat fee for Express shipping. Please note: All imposed import taxes, duties and fees will be the responsibility of the recipient when shipping outside the U.S.

Do you accept international orders?
We send our products to all corners of the planet.  We may ship directly from our workshop in Nepal by either FedEx or DHL.  The charge is a flat $25 shipping fee. Please note: All imposed import taxes, duties and fees will be the responsibility of the recipient when shipping outside the U.S. The cost to pre-pay these fees varies greatly by destination country. We do not have the ability to manage this at this time.

How soon will I receive my order?
Custom ordered items will ship within 1-2 weeks of ordering.

Are Pashm & Co. items guaranteed?
We are dedicated to making the highest-quality pashmina products in the world. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please return it within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund.

Pashm & Co. offers 7 days after receipt of your purchase to decide if you are completely satisfied. If, for some reason, you wish to return your purchase, notify Pashm & Co. by e-mail at [email protected] You will be issued a return authorization number, as well as a return address. Returns made without prior authorization will be refused at our office. Refunds on authorized returned merchandise will be made to your credit card upon receipt of goods. All returned products are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and must be in resalable condition.   Shipping charges will not be refunded on orders returned for customer remorse. Pashm & Co. reserves the right to inspect the condition of all returned products before issuing a refund.

We maintain a high level of workmanship. Each item is inspected and packaged by hand before it is shipped. As with all handmade items, there may be slight imperfections in the fiber or the weaving process, making each piece one of a kind. We believe these imperfections add character, knowing these items are made by people, not machines. However, if an item is damaged or defective we will replace it.

For damaged or defective merchandise, notify Pashm & Co. by e-mail at [email protected] We will issue you a return authorization number and a pre-paid USPS label to print and place on your return envelope. Upon receipt of the defective/damaged merchandise at our location, you may choose to either be refunded the full amount of the defective/damaged merchandise or a replacement will made. If refunded, the credit will show up on your credit card. Any returns without a prior return authorization number will be refused at the Pashm & Co. office. Pashm & Co. reserves the right to inspect the condition of all returned products before issuing a full refund or replacement.

What kind of fringe do your items have?
All our pieces have the standard three-inch long hand twisted and knotted fringe, unless you specify otherwise.  We can also make a 3/4 inch open fringe, or a base knot fringe or we can finish the ends with a hand-dyed satin silk binding.

I would like an item in a color and size not offered on this web site. Can you make this item for me?
Yes we can.  We can work from a swatch sent to our Petaluma office or a Pantone color from the Pantone Textile Guide.

How can I match a color on this site to something in my wardrobe or home?
Please send us a yarn or swatch.

How should I care for my pashmina?
Contrary to popular belief, cashmere is easy to clean. Wash it in warm water with a good, natural shampoo. (We use an Aveda shampoo in our factory.) During the dyeing process, all items are kept in water for between 30 to 60 minutes at a temperature just below boiling, and are washed twice more, so do not fear washing cashmere in water. Dry cleaning will cause no harm.
